It will be interesting if anything comes of the talks between Ukraine and Russia on Monday. I hope they can end this conflict with diplomacy, but I have my doubts Putin is serious about it.

Russia, the general population is against the illegal invasion. Ukraine was no threat to Russia. It's Russia that has always been a threat to neighbouring countries. It's just something Putin wants to stroke his ego. Taking over Ukraine is only going to benefit Putin and other rich Russians.

That said, there are some news sources allegedly saying that Poutine could be very sick, like terminal and this could be the result of him losing it, or building his legacy.

some videos of captured Russian soldiers and sounds like they are reservists and conscripted. They really have no interest in a war with Ukraine. Think this further proves what we see in Ukraine and is about Putin and no one else. Russia was never attacked and all Putin can come up with are excuses. It's about threatening other countries about joining NATO or taking assistance from the west. It's about his vision to revive the USSR.

Especially on Fox News which we all know is so unbiased. LOL

Perhaps they should look at Trump health.

Plus ever changing thoughts.

Right after praises Putin. Then backs up a bit. Then goes back to favour Putin actions. Every day is different. He changes his opinion or at least his spoken opinion more times than some change their socks.

Even his own followers are backing off supporting his views.

He even said that Putin invaded Ukraine due to his loss in a false fixed election.

I think Ukraine is doing a courageous job. Russia underestimated Ukraine. All they looked at was the numbers and not the courage of the people. The longer the war lasts the worse Putin looks.

Information warfare seems to be increasingly a part of the picture here. From story below, Pro-Russia entities and sympathizers actively promoting a conspiracy theory to try to change the narrative on this brutal barbaric invasion:

Today “Istandwithputin” and "Istandwithrussia" are ridiculously trending on Twitter, though they've now been impacted by so many jumping in and pointing at out how they're obviously being propped up by bots/troll farms. I really hope Twitter gets more serious about manipulation of their hash tag system.

Separately I see that a popular Canadian antivax group is now actively sharing Russian propaganda whether related to that or whether it just happens to be trying to find susceptible people.

I'd expect further plays toward trying to change or at least muddy the narrative within Western countries given how united the West has been on supporting Ukraine with economic consequences on Russia.
