Obama made an off joke about the Uighurs held at Guantanamo Bay at the annual Radio/TV Correspondents dinner. Now I think he was going for shock factor, but even THIS issue should be off limits for all but the most seasoned of comedians.  
 
For those curious about who/what Uighurs are, they comprise a small ethnic group of muslims in Afghanistan and other countries including China. A large group of them were sent to Guantanamo as enemy combatants SEVEN years ago. They have been found %100 innocent to the last man (By Several Levels of Gov and Judiciary) and NO level of suspicion has EVER been justified. While having been found innocent over a year ago, they continue to be imprisoned. Welcome to the justice system post-9/11.  
 
Their suffering and wrongful imprisonment, being snatched from their home and sent halfway across the world to a cell where NO law could reach them and they had NO recourse is not a joking matter. Now they're talking about shirking responsibility and resettling these Uighurs in Palau rather than the US.  
 
Obama might have been going for shock factor in this joke (You can hear the audience disapprove), but this is too far. Fun is fun, but guess what, he doesn't have a light hearted job. Wrongful imprisonment and abuse is not a laughing matter.  
 
I'm starting to think that this guy just doesn't take his job seriously, comedy night or not. In fact I'm starting to believe that his whole purpose in being the president is to grin-fcuk us as rights, jobs, and money disappear around the world.
