In an article from Vanity Fair, Blackwater Founder and CEO Erik Prince admits to being a CIA "Asset".
Why isn't this reported more widely in the news? It could have just as many implications, if not more, than the torture aligations in Afghanistan.
This man is the head of the one of the largest and most powerful private armies in the world. His soldiers have been responsible for a number of atrocities including the Nisour square massascre where 4 heavily armed Blackwater operatives opened fire on civilians. This was found to be a totally unprovoked attack and is currently under investigation. His company is also in the business of attack drones, specifically in Pakistan from the Afghan side. Hundreds of people have been killed by these things, most of them civilians in a country that we are NOT at War with. His private army in Iraq is also immune from Iraqi law.
Now its discovered that he's actually working with the CIA, a governmental organization, by his own admittance.
Sum it up: The leader of A private army, with immunity from Iraq law, who's soldiers have committed unprovoked mass murder, who acted as police in the States, is working directly for the US government via the CIA.
That strikes me as news worthy, even just a little bit. Yet everyone is keeping mum.....
