Was Iran buying nuclear weapons from Pakistan?

The Pakistani paper, The News International, has an impressive article up today summarizing the shift in Policy there over the last years. In particular it spends a great deal of time on AQ Khan's dealings with nuclear weapons and Iran, and his high ranking associates within Pakistan's military. I really must insist that this is required reading for anyone wondering just why a poverty stricken desert with no natural resources to speak of like Afghanistan was ever considered important by a global superpower. And it can't be shrugged off or tossed away as neo-con fear mongering either, The News International is still more critical of the American's than of the Taliban.
Forgive my harping on a topic that seems to bore everyone, I can't help myself when these stories go ignored by our media. Heaven forbid if CBC weren't there to let us know that Premier Williams will be back to work soon, let alone the headline today about "Seeking Canada's best bathroom!".
Here's the link for anyone interested.
