There is no doubt our climate is changing, it’s been changing forever and will continue to do so till the end of time, IMO.
A question that needs an accurate answer to, is, WHY is our climate changing.
We have a group of scientists that claim this change has largely been brought about by man and man’s actions causing greenhouse gasses. Al Gore & company support this theory. The two most prominent greenhouse gasses are water vapor and carbon dioxide. Both water vapor and carbon dioxide occur naturally in our atmosphere. Scientists do agree that the levels are higher in recent times, than they have been at some other times in earths history.
Another theory is that sunspot activity (or lack of) drives climate change. During this last period of global warming sunspot activity has been high. Harvard astrophysicist, Dr. Willie Soon, specializes in the study of the sun. His findings would support this theory.

more information here. I also strongly support this thinking.
In short the fewer sunspots there are the cooler our planet will be, and vice versa. There are also studies that have proven (?? I’m not sure how) that other planets in our solar system have been warming at the same time our own planet has been warming. I have links to that information as well but they are on one of my other computers. Should anyone want, I will provide those links.
I am concerned that forces other than pure science have led to some of the conclusions drawn by some of our researchers. Some of the conclucions reached a few years back, if accurate, would have some of us (not this area) up to our ankles at least, in water by now.
In the ‘70s, David Suzuki (and others) claimed we were headed for an ice age. That seems to have been short lived. In the last decade, he has been very concerned with global warming and the disasters it will bring. It’s clear to me that at least some of our scientists don’t have a grasp on what really is happening, or why. To be fair, I’m not sure any science can predict what nature is capable of doing, and when it might happen.
From everything I’ve seen and read, along with the belief that the earth has already warmed up, on it’s own, from at least one ice age, I think it would be foolhardy not to believe our recent climate change COULD be naturally occuring. I also believe that man has had an influence on our climate, a very small influence. I think we are being rather naïve when we think we have the power to drasticly change anything mother nature is inclined to send our way. Man’s influence on climate change,IMO, is insignificant, when set beside the influence of nature.
