High speed chase just went past my house about. A half hour! Very fast speeds! Thank god no children were around at the time

Went right by the tracks near my place!

The suspect has been arrested near the corner of 3rd and Rosser.

There is only one rail yard. But if that still wasn't enough to give away the location you could refer to the picture posted. If you can't figure out the picture its of the 1st bridge being built.

Ah shucks ya got me al. I didn't think of that switching station. I was think more of a main rail yard. But ya guess got me. Duh!

Here's another update, but this time it's from police and goes into detail of what happened. Good work BPS on getting these low life's off the street.

Am I crazy, or should knowingly running from the police result in an automatic guilty verdict ?  
 
If you're willing to endanger innocent people to escape from your crimes, isn't that basically like admitting guilt ?

Obviously not to witness it! Its summer kids play outside! At speeds like that NO ONE even a child would have time to get out of the way.... they werent exactly on the road either... they took 2 very sharp turns and could of rolled

Looks like the police were on the ball with taking these people down. Plus I really appreciate them putting a couple of schools on lockdown. It never ended up getting close to the schools - but better safe than sorry.

I think they were implying that at 100 km an hour down Assiniboine Ave. which is an area which is known to have kids and family rental housing units it could have been a really dangerous situation had there been any outside playing at the time.

but no child of mine would be allowed to play ON a road. Teach your children well and it will serve them a lifetime.  
 
On the other hand the police have a job to do.

My children dont play on the road either but they do play right beside my place in an empty lot... the car came down my little street flew around the corner to the back alley then thru the empty lot... im saying IF the kids were home it could of been a different situation if the vehicle rolled or worse

The real question is why are these suspects with lengthy criminal records not named? Just more of the catch and release system in Canada. No justice for those victimized by these or any dirt bag criminals

You're being pretty obtuse about what seems like a very reasonable comment.  
 
I don't any police bashing here so I have no idea what they having a job to do has to do with that, I also fail to see where they said their kids usually play on the road.  
I did however read that the chase ended in a crash and usually bad guys who are that desperate aren't obliged to stay on a street if fleeing on a sidewalk suits them equally as acceptable. Further the letter that we got from our child's school stated that the school was called at 12:35 to be advised of the situation unfolding, it's not out of the realm of possibility that anyone child or adult would be walking to or from a destination home for lunch.  
Have some fibre, you'll feel better.

I for one am glad that our police force have things under control!

Im speakig for myself when im saying thank god the police had everything under control. The chase had JUST started when they went past my house. They were very quick to respond cause within seconds more cops flew by.... im saying thank god no kids or anyone was seriously hurt and the bad guys are put away!
