I am absolutely shocked at the number of rude, inconsiderate drivers there are in Brandon. My friends and I have been sworn at and told to 'find a crosswalk' twice since school started. We are also trying not to get hit by people who are not slowing down because it isn't a marked crosswalk. It is perfectly legal to walk across at every block intersection, not just marked crosswalks. It is only jay-walking if you decide to cross the street in the middle of the block when you aren't at a corner. I would also like to point out that we aren't just darting out in front of vehicles, we are waiting until it looks fairly clear. I have wrote the city about this in the past bc we used to live just off of Princess Ave and witnessed one person get hit crossing at Hurls and another being taken by ambulance after being hit there. Please pedestrians and drivers, slow down and look out for eachother and let other people know that it is alright to cross at the ends of blocks. Thanks
