I know it to early yet but getting close I have my seed catalogues I want to know when its the best time to start planting seeds indoors for trans plants in the spring late february early march or when does ebrandonpeople start seeds indoors

It will depend on the seeds. Some only need 3-4 weeks, but the bulk will need 6-8 weeks. Some need 12 or more. I'm actually starting leeks this weekend!! You will need to consult the seed packets to see what you need.  
 
It will also depend if you have things like a heat mat - it will speed things up but if you don't have one you might want to give yourself and extra week or two as things will grow slower.
