Any ideas of where to get a good priced one? I don't have any raised beds yet, but would like to try a couple. Also, has anyone tried the garden bags? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

Garden bags are a great cost effective way to start growing as long as you make sure that you water and feed the plants regularly. I used to grow tomatoes and cucumbers in bags all the time and they work well. When the compost is spent you can rake it into your garden. As. You gain experience you could then build your own raised beds if you wanted to.

you can make them almost for free by using palette wood.. used pallets are available almost everywhere for free. make your beds 4ft by 4ft so you can reach all the bed from any side...you can go 3 or 4 boards high. I always dig up the grass under the raised bed, so you have more room for root crops(ie: carrots etc.) just google: how to make raised beds from pallet wood and you will get some good ideas...

I bought my garden beds at Costco last year. It came with 2 4x4 beds. But they just slide together, so you could make it a 4x12 bed if you wanted. 4 feet is wide enough if you want to be able to reach the whole way and not hurt your back. They are a white PVC plastic. Easy to set up and very sturdy. I think they were $119 and they shipped for free. I see this year they have some nicer grey ones for a little more money.

We just build our beds on the ground using cheap spruce (we keep moving/tweaking, so longevity isn't a huge issue). We've also built them out of repurposed/reclaimed wood.  
 
I also regularly plant in 5 gallon buckets (make sure it's food-grade, with recycle triangle 5 on it) and other "found items" that hold 5 gallons of dirt or more. And yes, you do need to fertilize them regularly if you plant in containers like that, but a bottle of liquid fertilizer costs $15 and will last the whole season or more.
