Bulb plants are typically fairly hardy. They are often planted in the fall (like garlic). So yes, absolutely, get them in the ground.
My lillies and the neighbors daffodils & irises are already starting to come up. Never had a problem with them coming up as early as beginning of April, even if there is snow afterwards.
