We've had a big family of sparrows move into our yard recently, which normally i wouldn't mind. but apparently now they've decided they'd rather not share the space with us, and each time i take the kids out in the back yard to play they dive at me. (the birds not the kids, lol) I just had to bring in the kids a few minutes ago, when i had 4 of them diving at me (for some reason they are going only for me not the kids?) at once.  
Is there a way for me to get rid of them? I don't know where they've hidden their nest, so i really haven't found it to get rid of it, so is there just a way to scare them away?  
I'm also having the problem of them flying into my windows quite often now, i find about 1-2 dead birds each week in my yard below the windows, and have about 2 or 3 more a week that will fly into the windows and are able to fly away. I've taken to closing the curtins in hopes of showing them that its a window, and its cut down on it, but hasn't eliminated it all together. I'm thinking we're having a large number of these because of a family of them living somewhere on the property?
