What kind of flowers could I grow to attract butterflies ?

Here is a couple or so I know of Hollyhock, Dianthus, Daylily. I love the butterflies too very pretty!!

Where in Brandon is the best place to get Dianthus ? & does it do well in containers ?

If you are planning to grow this plant be sure to manage it, by manage I mean remove the seed pods as soon as they form. The plant is capable of producing thousands of seeds, if not tens of thousands of seeds, and once established it is a difficult plant to get rid of.  
Not sure if it is still listed as a noxious weed or not.

jug of that wild flower seeds one year and planted a large area, kinda fun watching what came up, not even sure what plants they were, but the bees and butterflies sure liked them.

Perennial sedums also attract butterflies and bees. Any greenhouse should carry all of the plants mentioned above.

Thats why monarch butterflies are almost endangered because farmers unwisely cultivated and destroyed too much milkweed habitat. The fact they deemed it a "weed" was the real problem

When I look at different butterfly species, and how their numbers have gotten smaller,I also look at the planet as a whole. The reason it was,or is, deemed a weed has to do with how it can take over land and ruin pastures. When you use the word of "unwisely" to address what farmers do to try and maintain production, would it be fair to me to say that everytime I see a vehicle in the city,with only one occupant in it, they are unwisely contributing to endangering our planet, and different species.  
Not looking for a fight, just stating that we all do what we do to survive, make a living and in the case of farmers, feed the world.
