There's a thread about gardening, so it seems natural that there should be a thread about canning.  
 
What are you canning this year?  
 
I will be doing some jam today or tomorrow. Will definately do tomatoes and salsas later in the summer, and if I have lots of tomatoes I think I will do green tomato salsa too (very yummy!).  
 
I will, of course, always do zucchini relish. We eat 1-2 jars a month of that, so it's a must!  
 
I still have pickles from last year, so I think I will pass this year.  
 
I got a pressure canner for my birthday last fall, but I'm a little nervous to use it. What do you make in your pressure canner? I'm not sure where to start...  
 
Also, what else do you preserve? I like to dehydrate zucchini for soups and stews in the winter, and herbs.
