A few years ago, I went to a camp ground near Brandon... I have a big family.... I had 4 kids of my own and a foster child.  
 
Pulled into the site, with my van and my little Bowler behind me. I explained that I was also putting up my tent to accommodate us. They were going to charge me with 2 SITES!!!! *2 Units* they claimed... I said, I need it...the older kids sleep in the tent and I sleep in the Bowler with the younger ones... Nope... Didn't care. I stated, in length it was the same size as a 5th Wheel.. I was soo mad... here the kids are all excited about us camping. I did win, but I tell you, my site was monitered very closely!  
 
That same week (yes I was there for 5 days) I had planned my family to come for a BBQ. They all had to pay before they come into the site...I was there for a week... ended up a very expensive week. Why there? It was close to Brandon, for family to visit, it use to be a beautiful spot...  
 
I have been there since...and was just as disappointed. (Didn't have all the kids, that time) I took pictures of everything, from broken swings, damaged picnic tables, etc. It was horrible. They were booked, and the picnic table my sister had, should of been used for firewood it was so bad... We took the kids for a swim and the pool was only 50% filled... nice....  
 
Why didn't I complain? I did, then, nothing was done. Once home I worked on a letter of complain with my pictures, and my computer crashed. No pictures.  
 
Anyhow... I love camping, and it hasn't discouraged us... We camp almost every weekend...  
 
Be prepared when you go! Make note of what you see, and how people are...
