Lawn Edging

I'm making a new flowerbed in the front yard. I am a pretty lazy gardener and want some edging that will prevent grass from growing in. I have some kind of continuous stone edging in the back yard that I love because you can mow right overtop of it. I'm not a huge fan of plastic edging because the rocks get mixed up with the grass. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!
