Was craving some Chinese food today. Stopped by my "go to" place and they're closed. Looks like something is happening inside...renovation maybe?

Okay.... the owner is a friend of mine. Kam Lung is open daily as usual and none of these rumours are true. So..... head over there and enjoy their yummy foods.

I drove by there at 630pm this evening, and it was pitch black. Definitely closed for today's supper crowd.

Maybe call your friend and see if he is okay. I drove by there today just before 6 and it was definitely not open.

Thanks Soul, been sort of sitting on pins and needles waiting for some direction on this. Do enjoy Chinese food, and would hate to lose one of my go to places, could add that I enjoy any of the Chinese food in Brandon.

I eat just about anything that doesn't eat me, and we had a pork shoulder roast for supper. After BSE I thought I would eat my way the problem by eating all the beef I could, too much of that stuff isn't good for you, but Asian food always sits well with me .

What’s going on at Kam Lung Restaurant? I’ve tried calling several times and there was no answer so I stopped by this afternoon and there is a closed sign in the window. Are they temporarily closed or is this permanent?

On Jan. 25th, Soul said they were doing renos and would be open next week.
Now it's nearly 2 weeks, but we all know that renovations tend to take at least twice as long as predicted.
You would think they would post a notice on the door explaining what is going on.

From what I’m hearing it would be where Krevco Hot Tubs were. Right by booster juice and A&W.

something is not adding up and not making sense.
There was a story that Brandon will be getting Chopped Leaf in that location, possibly even Mary Browns fast food restaurant. However the link doesn't exist anymore.

Also on another note. We are to get Freshii in brandon as well, one possibility is old Blockbuster location area.

is going into the Little Shoppe beside Kullbergs and the Little Shoppe is moving to a new location.

I believe that Chopped Leaf is going in the same location as Mary Browns too.

Is it going to be still called Kam Lungs and will it still be operating out of the same building, I think the confusion was caused by so much chatter about the "I heard" part of the discussion.
