The new location is awesome. Great food, great service. Vlts for entertainment. Restaurant was packed the whole time we were there. Lots of smiling people...

Just drove by and the lot is full again. I'm guessing they will do extremely well at this location IMHO

i have tries a few places in town not kims though in a long time is their ss sauce similar to lees and kamlungs or another place lmk what u think

the other night. Weren’t really impressed & way to expensive - just shy of $ 50.00 for two people. Wanted to try a change from Wah Lee’s but their food is still the best & more reasonably priced.

The price was way to high for the size of the buffet. $47.57 for two adults. Will maybe only go on special occasions

Great to see a local business expanding. Fun to read in the Sun story about the overseas journey the statues out front had to take to get to Brandon.

Re menu, management tells me it’s the same menu as prev. They have it on their website and also have one in the dining section on here.
Because this thread has been following this story since the Kam Lung closure in late January I’d still like to try to learn more about the transition from one business to another and have a question in on that.

but beyond that what I really want to know is if anyone’s tried “singing” and seeing how far it gets you?

Stopped in tonight to try new Kim’s. Was highly disappointed. 3 kinds of sushi only, pretty generic Chinese buffet items with little flavor. We were there at 5 ish so not high traffic time but by 5:30 items were not being replenished. No sauces on tables ect. So that sent us on a good little search. For the price, environment and food quality/choices compared to our other go to town buffet will definitely not be back any time soon.

Four of us went last night for the buffet. We all thought it was very nice & tasty. The service was very good also. I found the interior a bit too black for my liking, but that's just me.

It was packed! Food was good as usual. Only problem is they couldn’t keep the buffet full. I love the addition of the ice cream machine and toppings. The service was great!

was sure nothing great 10 items 2 choose from and 2 of them were rice and 2 others were veg and more items were cold sad buffet IMO Kamlungs was always good and lots of choices Kims seems have gone the other way more seating and less food

wah lee is about the same no choices so unless kamlung makes a return it looks like lees is the best buffet choice here

Just a heads up to everyone..and may not be the best thread to talk about.. There seems to be an asian restaurant that is going into the Krevco building. It will be a buffet with Sushi bar. So the speculation of Kam Lung moving to another location maybe true. Please see link and see submitted documents. One thing is that there will be half the parking available.

Went to the new Kim's on Vic. Love the décor and the buffet was sooo tasty! Congrats to Angie and her family on the expansion. Can't wait to go back. Cheers!

went for the lunch buffet on Thursday and don't know if it was a bad day or if everyone else just has different tastes then us but there wasn't much to pick from and half of it was cold went hoping for my favorite which is sesame chicken but all there was was sesame chicken wings which were cold probably won't be going back anytime soon.
