looking for some personal reviews on the restaurant and some recommendations!

It was fantastic with very flavorful foods and an extremely friendly hostess.  
 
The only thing to be aware of is most if not all of the food has at least a little bit of spiciness to it, I'm not generally a spicy food fan but I found all of our sampler items to be bearable, the spice was easily beaten out by the flavor.  
 
I wouldn't hesitate to go again, and the mango pop is really good.

In general we love it. Definitely try the tortilla soup! It is family owned so the service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. They can get a little bogged down on a busy night though.

I second the tortilla soup, and my favourite meal is the fried tacos. I also like to try the specials

I think your Pozole is incredible, as are the Tacos de Pollos Fritos.

Every time we go. Love the fried tacos, vegetarian tacos, and tortilla soup. So yummy

Spicey? What would you do if you went to chilli chutney? Lol.  
 
Sabor Latino is Mexican fusion. I personally find the food okay, not at all spicey.

Hubby and I do lunch dates there when we can. Went today! Ohh the tortilla soup. *drooling*. Everything is yummy. One of my fave places to eat in town.

Regarding a poster saying it's too mild, just ask the servers you want really extra hot or burn your face off heat if that's your thing. They will accommodate mild or burn, whatever you like.  
 
The Tortilla soup is really nice and hearty. I like it the best.

Do they serve authentic homemade tortilla chips now? It kinda ruined the authenticity for me when they served me tostitos with my order and I was super disappointed.

We love going - verrrry friendly and delicious food too. I don’t do spicy, but haven’t found the dishes overly spicy. I recommend the pupusas, but I don’t eat the stuff that comes with it (that might be spicy).

Re: tostidos. I too noticed that they served tostidos (saw the bag in the back) and could tell they weren’t homemade. I didn’t mind because the rest of the food is homemade but would be a nice touch if they made their own chips

Even my mom who is picky because of her stomach issues loves it, she can't handle spicy. Favorites are Pupusas and Tacos de Pollos Fritos. Service is friendly too.

We've been eating here a couple years and get the tortilla soup every time, as it's fantastic: the chips have never been tostitos. We might have had a more authentic bagged chip a couple times in the past (like Que Pasa... Thin, hard, flavourful) but usually it's chopped fried flour tortillas.

My wife orders take out from there at least once a week so judging by my visa bills the food is quite good.  
 
I know she always gets the papusas
