Where is the best carrot cake?

My significant other loves carrot cake so for valentines I’d really like to get one. I was wondering if anyone here may also be a big fan of carrot cake and could give me suggestions where I should get one. I got one years ago at sweet temptations for a friends birthday that was incredible but I believe they closed a long time ago so I’d really appreciate any information to help me out!

I've always been rather partial to the carrot cakes that come from the Heritage Co-op on Richmond.

I wouldn’t get one from Safeway or co-op, it’s a safe bet but try some of the lesser known places, like bluehills which was said will blow that other shit out of the water.

Why not make him one? Anybody can buy a cake but showing him you took the time to bake one is a thoughtful thing to do for your dude.

They have carrot cake by the slice, but the slices are huge. Good flavor, has raisins and nuts, nice and moist, and the cream cheese icing is great. We get slices to take out (they are frozen) and then have them for dessert later once they have thawed.
