Where in Brandon can one buy a box of meat for a decent price? I used to get boxes from stans fine foods - so looking for suggestions please

Tendercuts has meat packages you can order. The price seems decent .

best meat in town, no contest. They're out towards the hydro station in the east end, Victoria Ave.

How does that work for them? Is there like a retail shop there I can just stop in at? I've never bought from them before but you've piqued my curiosity.

Is it just pork products, or do they have a range of meats?

There is no actual store per say. You go in there and order at the counter, there are prices on the wall of their specials and all of their products and quantities. By far the best price and quality.

Yes the price is not bad for what ya get. I am not sure they have the best quality in town but they are definitely in top few. Try the back bacon.

is THE only place we buy our meat now. Just found the cuts of meat found in Co-op, Sobeys etc. were hit-or-miss quality. While Tendercuts may seem a bit pricey, I figured out that it's within the same ballpark as when you buy meat at a grocery store & feed half of it to the dog because it's tough, or gristly etc.

Coop by far..Sobeys is too pricey for me. I just wish they all had nicer affordable cuts of a roast beef. It’s either too small or a less than tender cut.. Maybe I expect too much.
