For the second time within a week bags of groceries inside of Wal-Mart bags have been left at our front door. (That we did not order, nor know where it came from)  
 
The first time we were home and didn't even notice that they got left overnight. The second time we were out and came home late at night to find more.  
 
I have tried calling Wal-Mart who claim to not deliver and a food delivery company that suggests keeping the food or donating. Although they won't even confirm if they are in fact the ones who perhaps mistakenly delivered.  
 
Facts .  
- No receipts/Order numbers  
- Completely different brands and item choices both times  
- No knowledge of any outside source whatsoever on where this food as come from.  
 
Any ideas anyone? I can't get any solid answers and although I have eaten some of the food it is very strange to quickly receive a second random assortment.

Lots of people are doing random acts of kindness around town. They drop off care packages and go. Sounds like you got Ninja’d, enjoy!

That would be instacart. It’s most likely one of your neighbours. I’m sure they’ve complained and received a refund from Instacart. I had them deliver my order to the wrong house as well a few times now. Thankfully they took pictures of it at “my” front door at drop off, and it wasn’t the same house in the images as it had been in the past.

I think when you get ninja’d, the general rule is to leave a note indicating same. If it was a nice gesture from someone, enjoy If not, someone out there is missing their groceries... Definitely seems odd

Thanks for the replies. I'm leaning more towards an InstaCart or some other place messing up because the items seem pretty specifically ordered.  
 
I guess I still don't know for sure where this food has come from, but oh well.

Have you contacted Insta cart? Notified your neighbors?

InstaCart says that wrong addresses happen and you're just suppose to eat or donate because they don't take it back.  
 
Yes, I personally asked the neighbors and they did not order the food.  
 
We are asking friends and family and also giving others most of it.  
 
Honestly, what am I suppose to do? xD If it happens again I'll just take it to a donating center and explain the situation. The food never appears to be tampered with.  
 
Maybe it wasn't InstaCart but mistakes happen and it could always be acts of kindness. Which is cool. There is no actual anwser I can find. And ya know what, iv'e decided that's fine. Just spreading the news around encase it happens to someone else and they're like wtf there are groceries on my step? loool

if this has happened twice by mistake then someone is losing money, a customer is upset, a bad word gets spread all because someone didn't take pride in making sure they had the right house.  
 
I see post like this on facebook too. where is my parcel? Oh wrong food delivered to my house.  
 
Today I found a puralator card at a vacant property. No address on the card just said when it was dropped off and where to pick up and the date.  
I did not know the name. I asked the tenant upstairs if it was them. Nope and i know the other 2 on the same facing side is not that name. I looked up the tracking number it appears it was delivered today so did not look any further, but who didn't make sure they had the right address.  
 
Lets try to take pride in what we do people.

Glamping, you wouldn't eat the food?? Even after you had done everything that the OP had done to try to find where it came from and where is was supposed to go?

I would not eat food left on my doorstep that was obviously not meant for me.  
 
I’d either return them to Walmart or donate them.

Perhaps you should read the entire thread before commenting then.  
 
Walmart will not accept them back, nor will instacart. They tell you to keep them and do as you wish with them, such as consume, donate, throw out.
