Can I freeze canned pie filling?

So, I had a canning mishap today. I was canning apple pie filling and one of the tops of my jars popped off during processing (!) and subsequently all my jars but 1 didn't seal. Reprocessing isn't really an option without ruining the product.
Will it work if I make pies and freeze them unbaked (which I know you can do if making fresh/from-scratch filling)? Has anyone done that? Does it get all goopy or running or gross? It has a cornstarch thickened syrup sauce stuff.
It's either that or I figure out a way to eat 5 quarts of apple pie filling in the next few days, LOL.
