Question for food delivery drivers

I have a friend starting with a food delivery service company in Brandon and am wondering if it’s worth it for him. With the higher insurance and wear and tear on his vehicle I can’t see how 3 or 4 trips a hour will pay the bills.( when I was at university in Winnipeg in late 1980’s I drove taxi that was owned by a friend and made great money especially on food delivery, but competition wasnt what it is now)would be interested in feedback from actual drivers doing this in Brandon.
