Little late to the party on this one, but with the wave of new restaurants I have to throw out a shout out to one that's been around a little longer and seems to really be coming into its own... Khan Foods. Moved to the food court in the mall over these last several months where they’re much more accessible and had the chance to give them a shot this week for the first time.
Dishes we had (Chicken Shawarma Platter and Chicken Biryani) were both loaded with flavour and portion size quite good. Different levels of spice tolerance in the house and they were very flexible at making at different spots on the spiciness spectrum. Liked seeing our Naan bread rolled fresh. Have been and still am a big Chilli Chutney fan from more of the India side of the fence, and what Khan are putting out from the Pakistani and Middle Eastern area is just different enough that they’ll get a regular spot in our food rotation. Hoping to give the Naannza and Calzones a try soon. Keep up the good work!
