    I am curious to know when did McDonald's start charging for McNugget sauces?

    Did you order McNuggets? I haven’t been charged for sauce when getting happy meals with nuggets.  
    If I ordered something else and asked for McNugget sauce I wouldn’t be too shocked if they charged me I guess.

    I bought a 6pc Tuesday night at the highway location. I asked for 1 sauce thinking that it came normally with a 6pc. I was charged 25 cents. I thinking it was an oddity I went to the Richmond location Thursday. I ordered a 10pc and asked for sauce. I was charged 50 cents for two sauces. And to be clear I didn't order any extra sauce.

    FWIW, putting in an order in the app looks like it still lets you pick choice of one sauce for the $5.59 for a 6 piece or choice of two sauces with the 10 piece for $7.79. Price is identical to if you pick "no sauce."

    Looks like they are charging. App order now for nuggets wants to add 0.25 for most sauces except honey and hot mustard from what I can tell. Boo.
