Looking for comments if you have used this service. Good or bad experiences. Is it easy to cancel?

We have used HelloFresh off an on for several years. My spouse likes it because you receive all the ingredients and the directions are easy to follow. The menus are varied and you can try some interesting meals from different parts of the world. Because my spouse doesn't eat meat we mostly get vegetarian or seafood meals.  
 
The pros are the food is fresh, of good quality and their customer service is pretty good if there is a problem. Rarely have we had a late delivery or found spoiled food.  
 
The con is that it is expensive. It works out to about $50 a meal for a family of four after you run through the discount introductory offers. In many cases for $50 I can buy ingredients and prepare a similar meal that will last two or more nights.  
 
You are definitely paying for convenience.

We subscribed to Hello Fresh a few years ago. I cancelled 2 years ago when we moved and no longer able to get door delivery and Hello Fresh still sends me mail with discounts and they have tried calling me for several months. I just ignore the calls and throw out the mail, but the mail still goes to my old house and gets redirected to my P.O. Box and it’s going to annoy the owners of my old house when we no longer get our mail redirected. I believe I also had to cancel on their website. I can’t remember if I had to use a computer or not. I remember it being kinda hard to cancel.

I find the food very good. I enjoy preparing it. Everything is i:ncluded and basic cooking skills are all that is needed although you do learn things too. Cheaper than eating out and healthier. And avoid shopping for groceries
