Just wondering why there are so many Tassimo coffee makers for sale in the classifieds. I have been considering a single serve station, but is Tassimo not a good one?

I love my Tassimo!!
I have tried Tassimo and Keurig, and I hate the Keurig compared to Tassimo.

You can make actual lattes in the tassimo, Keurig doesn't do that. which is my favorite part.

The only downside to Tassimo is the selection for disks is not as large as Keurig, but I feel like its getting better!

I don't like about the Tassimo is can't buy and use a reuseable filter. I wasn't a fan of either until I bought reuseable filter my Keurig. I hate all the waste that either create and I'm not really that bothered about the latte option or the lack of with my Keurig. I use it for coffee and hot water which is perfect for that. It totally depends what you're looking for!

I use my Tassimo daily, I've had mine for a couple years now and I haven't had any problems with it at all.

We have both a Tassimo and a Keurig at the office where I work! I don't like the 'fake milk' taste of the Lattes for the Tassimo, so I buy expresso and add my own milk and sweetener to it. For the Keurig, I like Tim's French Vanilla cappucinos and the Apple Ciders. We also make Chai Tea in the Keurig and add our own milk.

As someone above said you can't use the refillables for Tassimo. Also it is much noisier than my Keurig. For both of those reasons I prefer my Keurig.

We've had a tassimo but now have a keurig. We prefer the keurig and even bought one for the camper

Tassimo doesn't allow your own filter which is a big drawback. And selection is very poor.
I find the comparison to be similar to this:
Tassimo is the Betamax of coffee makers
Keurig is the VHS.
Both work and do the job, but one is clearly taking the lead and the other will maybe be left in the dust eventually.
