    Homemade Pumpkin Pie

    I am in charge of pies this year and just don't feel like making them myself. Where would you suggest buying the best pumpkin pie? A real, homemade pie. Perhaps from farmers market venders or similar.

    Pumpkin pie- there is nothing better than homemade pie. For some reason pumpkin pie is on the list of pies that cannot be sold at a farmers market.  
     
    My recipe calls for pumpkin purée, sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated), 2 eggs and spices. I use store bought crusts. It is so good

    Blue Hills Bakery have wonderful pumpkin pies although a little expensive,

    the recipe on the E.D. Smith pumpkin can. It's excellent! Make sure you buy the pure pumpkin, not pie filling.
