When my daughter in law was going to university in Minot we went down to pick up our son who was down visiting. He mentioned a place called Kroll's Diner, and mentioned about kneoplfa soup, which was a tasty treat, they also serve American and German foods, and the hamburger platter contained 5 burgers and more fries that you could eat.
50's style diner with great food, or that's what I thought.

Try Paradiso. Great Mexican food. We had it there in Fargo, definitely worth the money, and good portions.

We had Flautas, Macho combo and something else.. Man now i'm craving it.. lol.

It's been a few years, but the best breakfast place was the Homesteader (next to the Dakota Inn at the west end).

Check out Mi Mexico restaurant, authentic and excellent! Also you can't beat Schatz Crossroads Restaurant for great food too! Order a 99'r it's an awesome breakfast

The starving rooster. Unbelievable fire roasted pizzas, and a great selection of beer on tap. We just found it this year when we were down there and it will be a spot we return to year after year

It's been awhile for us as well, but I certainly recognize a few of the above places mentioned.

Trip Advisor might be another tool to use as well. Form your own opinions from traveller reviews. You will see some of the ebrandon recommendations here near the top of the list.

For all you can eat awesome fried chicken and pizza with side dishes dessert and drink for like $11 that place cant be beat!

I don't recommend places much but this place is great we went a year ago I got the cheapest burger on the menu as I didn't want much and it was fantastic the girlfriend had the meatloaf and she loved it just as much, we liked it so much on our last trip down we ate there twice!
