Does anyone know what the British food store is in Winnipeg, and if it is still open? I'm looking for the place that sells meat pies, irn bru, etc.

If you are looking for meat pies go to Henry's on the 270. They also have a few English items like Jams, Colemans Mustard, Heinz Beans, Galaxy bars and Double Deckers. The British store that used to be on Portage has gone and also I think the Pie shop on Ness might have gone. Original IrnBru is banned from Canada along with original Lucazade because of the red food colouring. IrnBru do a Canadian version which Sobeys used to sell, I've not looked in the new store to see if they still do. Bulk barn also sell a selection of British biscuits and chocolate along with Mushy peas and Branston pickle.

Super thrifty on Richmond has an entire aisle of British groceries. Bulk barn has quite a bit too. What do you need?

I also recommend Henry Meats on 270. Well worth a visit.
