I was wondering if the co-op in Brandon still had their 10 for 10 sales?  
I'm sure there is an app for these fliers but I'm not much for apps.

In there flyer is buy one get one free.There is lots of deals in flyer.They still have the ten for ten.

They do, had it on a month or two ago. Reebee is a great app for flyers. All the local flyers are posted

Lots of times Superstore matches prices of the other stores sales.  
 
When you see a good price you got to take advantage don brown! But that only works if people have the cash flow a lot of people don't

You are so right, they talk of a modest rate of inflation for food,but I wonder if they look at package size or just price of the package. You mentioned about the prices of a roast, and as a producer it sometimes really shocks me when I see the store price, and at times I have encouraged people to but a quarter or half, but at four dollars a pound the price of a quarter is well beyond many people''s budgets.  
One question I asked my wife the other day was, do you think they can make crackers any thinner? Superstore is one of our stops when in Brandon and I do find bargains there, but you do have to watch, I always compare the barcode number on the product with the price barcode, but ink must be expensive because the numbers on the product are even getting smaller, same as the cost per gram, almost unreadable nowdays.  
Glad the kids are grown and gone, would be a challenge to feed them all today at these prices.

that Superstore sells a package of bacon that is actually a whole pound? Think it's President's Choice and has a few different flavours. It usually sells for 6 bucks. Most bacon packages weigh 375 grams.

I don't do apps either, but I get the Co-op flyers by e-mail every week, although here in Minnedosa we get it in our post office box too as well as the Safeway/Sobeys ones.  
Safeway also has the 500g. Compliments brand of bacon. They have eggs on sale this week, 18 large for $2.99.  
I find that although their prices (and Co-op too) are general pricey, they do have some good sale items.

what does the Compliments bacon taste like? I'm a little leery about that brand as they have had issues with recalls.  
 
Sobeys eggs are .99 cents this week, limit of 2.

Just had a BLT with it for lunch and it tasted fine. Dog enjoyed it too.

This doesn't really have to do with the topic at hand, but I just want to say, yesterday I paid 5$ (including tax) for a loaf of brown bread.... that's crazy! I usually shop at superstore, I didn't yesterday.... am I the only one who thinks that's crazy? 5$ for bread? This was the cheapest one

$5 is a lot depends on the type and size of the loaf, walmarts, sobeys, supper store and co-ops bread are all around $2 unless you bough a very large loaf or specialty grain then im not sure id go back to that store

I have been using reebee for years. I do not ever see co-op flyer in there. I would honestly shop there more if they did have it posted in reebee. I actually just toss my flyers in the recycling bin, or use for painting splatter for my toddler. without looking because I use reebee almost exclusively.

I don't buy a lot of bread but I don't think there should be a tax on it.

I always buy Sobey's raisin bread, which is close to $5. But it is the best I have tried of all the stores...and I don't need to buy anything extra to put on it.

Was wondering what was up when I got a text message telling me that the app for the flyers was called Flipp, also received a PM letting me know the 10 for 10 days were on. Checked on ebrandon and noticed the topic had been brought back to life.  
Always enjoy reading comments about grocery shopping and where to find bargains, guess it has to do with the idea that groceries can consume a large part of people's budgets.  
When I read the comment about the $5 loaf of bread, I thought, good things the kids are grown and gone, because with $5 bread we would be eating our peanut butter the old fashioned way, that is with a spoon.

Giant Tiger routinely has rye bread on sale for $1.25 each (4/$5). It was just this past sales cycle, so it should be again in about 3 weeks. I usually go with a laundry basket and fill it up.

Was driving by Co Op today and seen the sign Pepsi Products 10 for $10.00. We drove in and picked up some stuff and Diet Pepsi. Proceeded to cash register, only to learn that Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Zero are not on sale. When did they become not Pepsi Products? was ticked. Isn't this false advertising?

Just looking at the flyer and it says "Pepsi Flavours" which include Schweppes, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Mug Root Beer, Crush or Lipton Brisk.  
Agree the sign sounds misleading - Pepsi should mean Pepsi!  
Also agree with Abbysmum, Giant Tiger is the place to stock up on the rye bread.

Flyer app is called Flipp. when i moved in with my bf he never got flyers so i downloaded this app. we recently started gettin flyers but i dnt even look st then at all. I still use Flipp .. Way easier and also way easier to compare prices. Plus u can search an item like potatoes n itll show u all flyers potatoes r advertised in. N can also make grocery list right in app. Its very easy to use as well
