I have, in the past been able to buy a package of Pierogies (sold in a hearty vacuum sealed package of 12) in a cottage cheese flavour. I can't remember the brand, but I know it's local. These are by far the best pierogies I've ever had, and I can't seem to be able to find any in Brandon. These also come in Saskatoon berry/cream cheese flavour. I want to get some for my up coming office potluck to wow my co-workers. Does anyone know where I can find them?

I have seen a few different local types there.

Coop sells cottage cheese perogies that look like they're handmade. Try the store on Richmond.

I’m pretty sure the new Ukrainian grocery store on 10th st beside the eye opener (comic book store) has them. $6/dozen. We’ve had their cheese one and they are fabulous. Huge too!!!

Which is now Lee's Market. walk straight to the back by the frozen foods & theres a white stand up freezer. They sell Perogy Lady perogies (cottage cheese, sourkraut, and potato cheddar) home made cabbage rolls, and home made pizza pops. I love those perogies & stop there all the time!

Happy Trails, have you tried their cabbage rolls? It seems any I've tried from other places are awful - cabbage is so tough it's hard to cut, let alone chew.

I know someone that makes cottage cheese perogies, as well as sauerkraut, and the regular cheese potatoe and bacon ones.
