Hello! My husband and I are interested in renting out decorations for weddings. We are thinking various centerpieces, arches, flowers, table numbers & holders, wreaths, lights, things like this. I know there are other places in town that do this, but we are thinking a 'set it up yourself' format for a reasonable price.  
 
Right now we are looking for ideas on what people would be interested in renting from something like this, as we won't have tents or chairs or big things, it would be more simple and cost effective. So what people would want for decorations, and also if people would be interested in this at all?  
 
We know rentals are sometimes expensive, and sometimes it seems easier and cheaper to buy all the things yourself, but then you are stuck with a bunch of decorations after your wedding is over.  
 
I guess feedback on this idea would be great, to see if Brandon residents would be interested in something like this!

We used Party Professionals for our needs at our wedding, which were fabulous to deal with. What I appreciated about them was their vast selection. We gave them a theme we wanted and they were able to show us many different items to choose from. We rented: lights for the ceiling, an arbor, centrepieces (about 4 different ones), tablecloths, runners, other decorations, etc. We chose to have them set up and take down.

Not to sound discouraging but I think it would be too tight of a market for just one off items. It is so much easier to either purchase it all if say doing a backyard wedding and selling off vases and such. Many who rent get the whole package. People like Party Professionals have it all so there is no worries about missing anything. We worked with the venue coordinator and went over everything from table colors to placings to center pieces. I mean we did a little customization but when your local dollar store is your best friend it keeps costs very cheap.
