Stupid question, but is it possible to just run down the courthouse and get married like in movies?
I know you need the license etc, but once you get that, what can you do for a fast ceremony?

for starters you cannot get married for 24 hours after you buy your licence. then you can just find a marriage commissioner to do the job. there is a list on the MB government website. and that's it.
