Hello everyone. I am thinking of elkhorn resort as my wedding venue. I was hoping for some first hand information from anyone who has been there.

they decorate up there all the time. Leanne from Bridal Bliss weddings I believe has worked with some couples that have done weddings up there. She is a wedding planner. We had our wedding there this past January. It was awesome! They were extremely accommodating to any requests we had. I highly recommend hiring a decorator to spruce up the salon as the wallpaper is hideous. We had party professionals and they transformed the room like no one had seen before! It was so convenient to have the hotel attached. Their new chef is absolutely amazing. We were nervous about the food as we are local and hadn't heard great things about larger caterings. We couldn't have asked for a better meal! Everyone complimented on it. Worth every penny.

but I heard it can be quite pricey. There are a lot of beautiful spots in that area for a wedding. What kind of wedding are you wanting? I guess if you are wanting a more formal wedding Elkhorn would probably be the best choice, but if you are wanting a more rustic wedding then maybe explore other options. But, that just my opinion.

Is the new construction for the pool completed yet? I saw a few construction photos so thinking not. Anyone know when it will be done? The pool area is pretty awful and last summer the construction noise was pretty awful...something to consider when planning a wedding there
