Christmas season seems to be a very popular time of year for many gentleman to double up their Christmas gift with a certain question. Oh those magical words… Will you marry me?  
 
What is your proposal story? Let's have some fun with this one!  
 
Was it exactly what you'd hoped for? Could it have been better? Ha ha!  
 
My funny story is that after joking with my girlfriend. The joke was that I wasn't going to ask her, as I wanted her to ask me. I had everything planned out, and at the last minute, right before I was about to ask her, she pulled out an engagement ring and asked me to marry her! There's a lot more to the story, but it's pretty awesome. Love that girl!  
 
So, good bad and ugly… What's your proposal story? Then who knows, maybe it will help out some guys looking for some helpful hints!

Awful awful awful but I loved it anyway lol my husband proposed to me at my grandfathers while I sat on the sofa I could hear whispers and giggles from my family in the kitchen then he comes in gets down on one knee and very quietly asks if I'll marry him. He was so nervous which I found funny since we had already been together 10 years and had had 4 children lol it was nothing fancy and absolutely not how I dreamed it to be but either way would not have changed my answer.( I found out later that the plan was to propose at my birthday dinner the week before but the ring wasn't ready so he's not that romantically challenged lol)

We got engaged in Christmas Eve last year. I wanted mucklucks and he bought them for me. As we were busy opening gifts with his family, I opened the box and saw my mucklucks. I tried one on then proceeded to open more gifts. He kept saying "try them on". I showed him I had, and he was like "try the other one on!" I was like "it fits! Look!" He wouldn't let up about me trying on the other one. So I got exasperated and tried the other one on.... there was a ring box in there. I was like "oh" haha.we aren't ones for big scenes, so I put ring on and didn't say anything. His sister noticed and made a big deal "isn't there something you should ask?" Lol he was like "she knows what it's for!" Lol... and that's how we got engaged haha

My fiancé proposed on our anniversary! He is a very romantic type. He planned out a big ordeal which I loved! I woke up in the morning he told me to get dressed up because he had asked his brothers girl friend to take some pictures of us (I'd been bugging him to get so me nice pictures of us d for awhile) As I was getting ready he handed me a note and told me to open it in 10 minutes and that he had to somewhere first and would see me in a little while.  
When I opened the note it was a letter he wrote for me and was a "clue" to where I had to go! So I ended up at the place we had first met and his brother was there. He handed me another note. I went a couple places when I finally ended up at the place we had our first Kiss and he was there with his brother and his gf. When I got down to where they were, my m got down on his Knee and asked me to marry him! Best day ever.  
 
It was a very sweet and romantic way of doing it but he knows I love the mushy stuff haha!
