I am looking to get some ideas for any rustic venues in Brandon! My fiance and I are getting married in September 2017 and I am looking for a venue that is not a hotel or a hall with a plain white room... We will likely have around 120 people to accommodate. We want to do an outdoor ceremony and an indoor dinner. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

Rents out for weddings and you can have places cater there for your meal. I am not sure how many it holds but have heard very good reviews for this place as it has so much character.

but Alternative Landscaping has hosted weddings and receptions in its new facility...might be worth checking out.

about ther new firehouse pub

yes the commonwealth is really the only "rustic" venue in brandon. you could also try shilo if your guests are willing to travel though.  
 
the commonwealth has strange pricing though... just be warned, it will be a LOT more than anywhere else in town. might not seem that way at first but they will nickel and dime you for every tiny thing you need (power cords, lights being on, etc)  
 
as for alternative landscaping, they do have a nice venue for approx 130 (ceremony), 80 comfortably for the reception. also they want to be a full-service wedding planner so they will organize everything (food, cake, liquor, bathrooms etc) for you. depends if you want to be hands-on or hands-off with your wedding.

commonwealth air museum holds up to 300 people.

don't know if it's what you mean by "rustic" but Lady of The Lake does weddings.

Hi, we are opening a new wedding venue near Brandon. The building is under construction now. We have a beautiful old barn in the yard also, fixed up an old chicken coop. Lots of photo opportunities. Great for a rustic wedding. also a beautiful big yard. If you are interested contact me at 761-1251

The Ditchfield property located 17th Street and Rosser Ave East is quite the place if you want rustic. It's just east of the Green Spot.

Not yet we are working on it.

We are opening a new venue 30 minutes North West of Brandon on the Assiniboine River Valley. The venue will be for tent weddings to start. The views of the valley are really spectacular. We are accepting bookings for Fall 2017. http://www.valleygate.ca

Have you tried Shady Lane Tea Room? They have a gorgeous setting just outside of Brandon. Prices are very reasonable. Call Diane or Doug at 728-1245
