How does one apply to become a marriage commissioner for one wedding? Have spent some time looking online but have not been successful.

call vital statistics. we had a friend marry us,it was only a little bit of paperwork, it's free and vital statistics mails them all the information

I know a few people who have had their ceremony and had someone who wasn't an officiant do the ceremony however had a marriage commissioner sign the paperwork. If these route might interest you I can get you the contact person for the marriage commissioner who could legalize everything, usually free.
