Seriously - highway robbery. With the highest tickets being 125$ for a table seat to watch guys compete ALL with less than 3 fights under their belt? Unbelieveable! The only saving grace is the opportunity to meet Mike Swick. This event is a cash grab.
Plus, when you consider the gyms these young MMA competitors are from, I know for a fact that many of them have no credentials (i.e. trainers that know what they're doing, with extensive knowledge of any one martial art in particular or with experience in competition). It seems like it's a number of guys getting together, training together, but being clueless as to what proper technique is.
That's what smoker cards are for - to build up the amateurs (instead of throwing them into the ring with a 'pro' monniker just because they're getting paid). It truly tarnishes the sport.
Now, compare this with the ticket prices of MFC coming to brandon and the caliber of fighters - and tell me where the value is.
