CBC isn't all that bad.

Normally I find Canadian TV bush league at best.
CBC however has improved:
Rick Mercer
Dragons Den
The Hour with George (whatever his last name is)
This Hour has 22 minutes
Hockey Night in Canada
All these shows are actually pretty good and improved tons over the years.
