Rectify is probably one of the most engaging shows I have ever watched, absolutely excellent for all the reasons already mentioned. I also thoroughly enjoyed Madmen, The Good Wife, True Detective and Lost. Another favourite is VeeP with Julia-Louis Dreyfus. I don't believe it is on Netflix but possibly on Movie Central at the moment. Certainly worth watching if you can access it, she is hilarious and the rest of the cast is fabulous as well. "

I find I like the older stuff better - newer shows tend not to be to my taste.

I've been working my way through Midsomer Murders for months, and will probably take to Christmas to get through all 95 episodes (each episode is 1.5 hours). Very high body counts, but tough to solve, unlike most mysteries that I figure out 1/2 way through.

Just watched To Kill A Mockingbird... what a great movie. I'd forgotten how much I love that one.

I'm currently binge-watching How I Met Your Mother, but I just finished watching the BBC docu-series Human Planet and I kid you not, it is the most jaw-dropping documentary I have ever watched. Beautifully filmed and incredible, shocking stories.

After watching Dexter and wanting something similar I would totally recommend Hannibal. I'm just on the second season, the show is still running they just have the two seasons till the third is done airing on tv but I really recommend it I'm hooked!

Saw a woman on Ellen today that is a comedian who had breast cancer. She has a documentary on Netflix called Tig. She was quite funny on Ellen and looks like a good watch. I added it to my long list.

Watched Cloudburst today. So funny. About 2 lesbians that break out of a nursing home and come to Canada to get married. Some might find humour offensive, I found it hilarious.

Google kodi, download and install it. Add the genesis addon and boom all the shows and movies you'd want to watch. Sportsdevil addon gets you all the sports you could want and PPV fights,etc. No need to change your DNS for American Netflix. It used to be called XBMC.

Here's a different one that I do not think has been mentioned. It's called Velvet. It's a cool series that takes place in Madrid in the 1950's and is about a store called Velvet. It's in Spanish with subtitles but that's ok. You can learn some Spanish too!
Now the fellow in this show is also in Sense 8 which I probably would not have watched otherwise. And it's a pretty cool show.

My son has fallen in love with YouTube videos. Some of them are just people or kids opening kinder eggs, or other types of toys. Some that he enjoys are these Baby Big Mouth videos. He started watching them around 2, and he's just over 2 1/2 and has known all of his colours for a couple of months already.

Mine love bubble guppies but we also have started to watch Paw Patrol and Thomas. Both are cute shows and I don't find them annoying like Dora...

Also on an adult thread... We loved Chuck and Narcos.
