Have any other owners of vehicles with air ride suspension noticed that the ride gets REALLY harsh as the mercury plummets past about -20C? When I purchased my Laramie RAM back in mid November, it was considerably milder than the weather we''ve been having of late, and the ride seemed a lot smoother. Lately the ride feels like the equivalent of a vintage rigid frame Harley Davidson.

Not much give when the Rubber for the airbags is rigid as a rock.

We traded off our new Longhorn for the same reason. Air ride is only nice when the temps are reasonable. Too bad no one points it out before you buy.

Dynasty years ago with rear air suspension bags. it was the nicest riding car I ever owned. never noticed any tough rides due to cold weather at all.  
 
if this is on a 3/4 ton could it be due to the big heavy duty tires the vehicles come with now. huge rims with narrow profile tires will give you a rougher ride in winter cause of less rubber to flex.  
 
lots of people when purchasing winter tires will down size the rim and up size the tire profile to get a softer ride.

What model of truck do you have? What was the air pressure in the bag? There are lots of factors that come into play with air ride suspension.
