I was just curious where all you parents of new drivers go to practice parallel parking with your kids? It makes zero sense to me why the parking poles at MPI are taken down every day. Where are kids supposed to practice and learn how to do it if the only place they have parking poles in this city takes them away every day? Why not just leave them there all the time? I don't get it

We just made our own poles. Milk jugs with driveway markers, and the other ones we did were out of pool noodles. I think they get stolen if they leave them up. And maybe they don’t want any liability if something happens there after hours?
Google how to make your own. We just took our homemade one to the keystone and practiced there.

We did the same. Made our own and practiced at the Keystone parking lot.

There are Practice parking poles located on Lorne ave and 14th street

Have a front end of a car and back end of a car mounted into a spot it make better sense then the poles... I sucked at learning to parrell park with the poles my mom found a parking lot with work trucks and had me pull into a spot first then back up and square with the box of the truck.. Then i tackled the poles at mpi
