I'm looking to get command start put into my Dodge Grand Caravan in or around Brandon.

Best/worst places?

We had one installed on our used caravan and are very happy with it. Can also use my smart phone to start, lock, or track it. It was costly but worth every penny.

I would not recommend the previous place that was recommended.

Prices vary. Likely looking at $400-500+

To a dodge dealer . The factory remote starts are garbage for the price u pay I had mine installed in Winnipeg but extreme and Best Buy would be your best bet . After market will have better range then factory dodge . I paid 500 installed had good distance with remote and smart phone was handy too . Installed on a 2010 caravan .

We have always had good service from Extreme. In fact my new car is booked with them in 10 days time to get command start fitted.

I came here to ask I don't want to go to a dealership unless I absolutely have to! They charge way too much for simple stuff if you ask me.

I didn't know you could get command start kits from Best Buy. They really do sell everything don't they (haha!).

Have to concur about FCA factory command start having limited range. My 2013 Laramie trim RAM has the factory command start and range is about 30 yards. If I had a smart phone it would be nice to have a command start that responded from ANY range, even from another city.

I did NOT buy the cheaper after factory dodge remote or whatever it is they are saying sucks. I bought the top of the line and paid more than what they are saying for best buy and stuff BUT I am very happy with my choice, great range and service.

Go to Ricco at KelleherTech. He used to be at Extreme and Aurora but now has his own business on 26th and Brandon Avenue. He’s one of the only people in town who can work on all types of cars
