I am currently looking at switching from my Chev traverse to a Toyota Highlander. Just wondering how people that have made a similar switch faired. Also Toyota owners - do you love it or hate it

I have a 2016 Toyota Highlander Limited.  
Would highly recommend. Great ride and a very safe vehicle. Precision Toyota are awesome to deal with.

Look into the hybrid! Might save you some $$$ in the long run

I own a Rav4 and couldn't be happier with it. My number #1 reason for buying was the reliability reputation and am so happy with everything about it. You won't regret a Toyota purchase!

A 2010 Limited has been an awesome vehicle. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If you’re planning on keeping it for a while just get quality and reliability up front you won’t regret it. GM didn’t get a bailout 12 years ago for nothing. If the vehicle and parts last twice as long how is that not great value and if you go to sell it you’ll get the price diff back anyway. Toyota service depts are outstanding as well.

You should always do your research! look into what problems others have had with them, look into what years things came up problem wise and have these problems been addressed! what warranty problems are people having with recalls? do they get the run around? look into other dealerships and can one beat the price of the other. what are the repair cost most associated with the vehicle, how much will tires cost to replace when the time comes? all of this should be looked into before you buy. these are the most complaints I hear people tell me after they realize the deal they got was not such a deal

I am a Toyota Highlander owner and prior to that I had a Toyota 4 Runner for 14 years. If you want lasting quality it’s worth it. I sold my 4 runner with 400,000 km on it and it is still running with very little rust. This was driving on gravel roads and not in a garage all of its life. My highlander has been great so far. Haul my kayaks in it. Room for 6 when needed. Lots of storage inside. Yes you will pay more than domestic cars but you have to weigh pros and cons. The staff at Toyota are great when it comes to service. I also have friends that have one and they love theirs to. Good luck with your choice.

We have a 2017 Toyota Highlander and absolutely love it. 7L/100km highway and 10L/100 km city very very quiet and reliable.the cost to purchase is going to be a bit more but the cost of ownership is gonna be less (typically needs less repairs)  
Have had a Kia Sorento, Ford Explorer, and several gm vehicles in years gone by and nothing compares.  
You won’t be disappointed with a Highlander
