old gas disposal

I have about 20 gallons of old gas and I’m wondering where to take it for disposal.

You can take it there, however you will need to leave it in whatever container you brought it there in. They don't have a tank or anything for it to be poured into, at least that's what they've told me.

Blend it in your car. Every time you fill up put 5 L in. I have done this several times with no problems at all. 5 L in at 80 L tank the car won’t even know the difference . If it is contaminated no, but if it’s just all gas no problem .

that is a poor idea. Today's gas goes bad quickly enough on its own.

My experience with old gas tells me this is a bad idea. No way I would do this with old gas today.

The gas was pretty old and smelled awful. I had it in old 5 gallon pails with lids and the dump took it no problem - no charge.
The few tree branches I took there however cost me $6.

I was waiting for someone to ask "how old" before answering the question. Sounds like it was very old. My leftover lawnmower gas feom this summer will get dumped into my vehicle, but I wouldn't use the gas I found leftover from the generator from almost 10 years ago.
