I am posting here to get some input from people with MPI immobilizers. Since this cold snap has started I personally have come across 2 vehicles that would not start due to an issue with these units. I've done a bit of research on the subject and have found failure to operate properly in extreeme cold is definately an issue! Has anyone else run into this? Wondering what good this supposed theft protection is if it causes your vehicle to be unreliable? I wanted to caution people who are thinking of volunteering their car for one of these,to reconsider! Personally I am removing the device from my car, and will be in contact with MPI as to what they are willing to do. I will post my findings.  
 
P.S. I suppose a car that won't start at all can't be stolen!!! lol!
