Well Saturday the starter went on the van 98 windstar, had it towed to Tory's and everything was fine till today. The control panel went off while I was driving, so I didn't even know how fast I was going. I just made it into the driveway before it died again. So again it is making the same noise it did when the starter went on Saturday. Called CAA for the second time in 5 days the tow truck driver said he thinks its the alternator, is this something Tory shoud have noticed? So $400 later and its back in the shop. Wonder what it will be this time?? Is it even worth putting anymore money into a vehicle this age, the transmission was just replaced over the winter, when do you stop repairing and buy new.
