I've recently been looking for a new car. I'm not rich, so I'm looking along the lines of a Kia Rio or a Chevy Aveo. What I am tired of is car salesmen who are incapable of understanding the FINAL PRICE!!! I'm talking tire tax, delivery, GST, PST, financing charges, PDI (whatever that is), and any other hokey charge they want to put/add in to the cost of a vehicle. This is not difficult. I asked a salesman over the phone 4 times for the final cost on a vehicle and he swore to me that the price he gave was good to go. I got to the dealership and he had forgotten!! that the price he quoted me was with 2000.00 downpayment (bull**** he forgot). This is not the first time this has happened within the last month at a seperate car lot. It's frustrating and down right unethical. When an electronics store sells a T.V. they hit you with taxes as well, but the "delivery and freight" is included in the cost. Just a rant and needed to vent. But still if this has happened to you, lets tell the dealers no more.
