MPI Immobilizers

so has anyone had trouble with their immobilizers? A few times over the last few weeks my vehicle wouldn't start, i turned the ignition..nothing. I had a new battery installed and now again this morning...nothing. The key turns, no sound from the starter, just nothing. I have had CAA out twice. I think the immobilizer is not working properly. help..
